Small Plane Crashes on Californian Highway

A Cessna 310 crash landed on 405 Freeway in Orange County, California, injuring two people. No people on the freeway were hurt. The two people injured were on the plane, a man and a woman.

The plane had declared an emergency shortly after taking off on John Wayne Airport. The plane reportedly lost its right engine and short thereafter crash landed on the freeway.

A witness nearby stated,“It sounded like a car crash. Then we heard all these sirens, and we just looked out and could see all the smoke.”

Engine Backfire Heard Before Wisconsin Plane Crash

A sound similar to an engine backfiring was heard by witnesses before a small plane crash in Wisconsin that killed a teenage pilot and a passenger occurred.

The injured passenger is identified as Hunter Gillet and the pilot as Owen Knutson.

Gillet’s mother described his current medical situation: ” Although Hunter has a lot of recovery time left, he gets a little better each day. Fortunately, Hunter will make a full recovery from these injuries.”

Arizona Plane Crash Kills Two

A small plane crash in the Gila Bend Mountains has killed two. The plane was originally intended to go to Buckeye Airport around 10am.

The plane wreckage was discovered around 17 miles southwest from the airport.

South Florida Plane Crash Kills 1

A South Florida plane crash has killed one and injured another.The plane had taken off from a nearby strip called Page Field and came down on a building.

The crash site is a child care center; however, no one was injured. An employee stated, “I can confirm that there was absolutely no Chico’s employees on-scene at the time of the crash, and no injuries to anyone who is employed there.”

The plane is identified as a Piper PA-28 plane. The NTSB have opened an investigation.

Vinalhaven Plane Crash Pilot Identified

A pilot in a small crash in Vinalhaven, Maine, has been identified.

The pilot is noted as Ted Weslake. When found, Weslake was conscious and alert but injured. He was taken to a hospital.

The plane involved is reported to be under the ownership of Penobscot Island Air.

NW Minnesota Plane Crash Hospitalizes Pilot

A small plane crash in Northwestern Minnesota has hospitalized a pilot. The accident took place around five miles south from Mahnomen Airport.

Two Minnesota Department of Transportation individuals driving along a highway near the crash site witnessed the accident and pulled the pilot from the crash.

The pilot was flown to Sanford Medical Center and is listed in stable to critical condition. The pilot is identified as Mark Habedank.

The FAA and the NTSB have opened an investigation on this incident.

Mahnoman Pilot Name Identified

The name of the pilot involved in a crash in Mahnoman County, Minnesota, has been identified as Mark Habedank, a 56-year-old.

First responders from the scene arrived to rescued the pilot from the plane, who was later air rushed to a local hospital.

The condition of Habedank is currently unknown.

A plane crash which killed the father and son aboard on June 4, 2017, in Calabasas, CA,had a sputtering engine before crashing, officials say.

The deceased are identified as James Harlan, the father, and Dylan Harlan, the son. The plane was a Piper PA028 Cherokee.

The deceased is reported to be the only individual on the plane. The identity of the individual has not been disclosed.

Alaska Airplane Crash Injures Five

A small plane crash in Southeast Alaska with seven aboard, including the pilot, crashed into a lake during takeoff, injuring five.

Once the plane crash landed in the lake, those aboard swam back to the shore. Five were taken to the local hospital.
