Alaska Airlines Jet Hits Turbulence en Route to Seattle, 7 Injured

An Alaska Airlines flight en route to Seattle, Washington/Sea-Tac Airport (SEA) hit heavy turbulence over Idaho yesterday causing injuries to 7 passengers.

Alaska Flight 731, a Boeing 737-900, took off from Houston Bush Airport (IAH) at 5:42 PM CDT and landed at SEA-TAC after the incident at 7:33 PM PDT.

All the injuries are reported by the FAA to be minor and all are expected to be ok.
