West Seattle Plane Crash Was An Instructional Flight

The small plane crash which occurred in the Puget Sound near West Seattle was an instructional flight with the Galvin Flying Program. The Cessna 172 was flying toward the Boeing Field during the crash.

Initial investigations reveal that a “loss of power” attributed to the incident. A crane is expected to be brought into the area to remove the plane from the water.

The FAA and the NTSB are investigating.
