A man from Wasilla, Alaska, is dead after his Cessna 172 crashed near Anchorage.

Witnesses state the pilot, Ray Justen, was performing a steep climb when suddenly the plane stalled in the air. The plane then dipped forward and crashed onto a gravel bar.
