In what is considered to be one of the greatest aviation mysteries in history, a new report released by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau sheds new light on the disappearance of Malaysia Air Flight MH-370.

Recent discovery of MH-370’s flaperons near the East Africa provided investigators with enough clues to draw a startling conclusion: the fateful flight spiraled at high velocity toward the Indian Ocean.

While the investigation has much to find out still, the conclusion discounts a prevailing theory which thought the pilots of MH-370 water ditched in the Indian Ocean. The plane may have lost control and instead disintegrated once hitting the water.
