A small plane crash in northwestern Wisconsin killed a teenage pilot and severely injured the passenger.
Recovery of the wreckage is underway according to the local sheriff department but the area has been difficult to access: “It’s a rural setting. There’s no easy access to get to it. We walked a long way to get to the scene.”
The teen pilot died on the scene. The passenger was taken to a local hospital and then airlifted to a clinic in Minnesota.
