EL PASO, TX (KTSM) — An American Airlines flight, flying from Los Angeles International Airport to Dallas Fort Worth was diverted to El Paso International Airport Tuesday morning at approximately 9:15 a.m. due to an electrical odor onboard.
Authorities say that the plane landed safely on Runway 22, with a crew of six and 160 passengers on board. No injuries were reported.
Passengers are being placed on regular scheduled flights out of El Paso, but American Airlines will be bringing in an additional flight to help. American Airlines estimates departure of the flight at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday afternoon.
